theatre_lambousaWe finally had a winner to our Theatre Lambousa competition. If there is a Jane Barker out there, you missed a great show.

My daughter must have a cruel streak, she drew the winner (Jane) to our competition last week. We emailed her to let her know, then waited… and waited, it got to the day before the show and we still had no response from her.

Desperate times called for desperate actions, and we had to find a winner and quick!  (cue hastily arranged second competition).
We simultaneously emailed all 148 of our correct entries.
Quick as a flash we had another winner, the table was set and the wine was put on ice.

Come show time on Thursday and our winner fails to show, the ice melts and the wine remains uncorked.
Jennifer (our second winner) has since contacted us to say she thought it was next week! (it was a genuine mistake) but that meant no one had yet to claim the prize!

Luckily Grahame at Theatre Lambousa came to the rescue, and kindly offered another pair of tickets for the Friday performance. Another day, another Lincguide prize draw. This time our gracious winner gratefully accepted our tickets.. and even showed up!

Julia Simmonds and her partner are pictured accepting a complimentary bottle of wine from TheatreLambousa.

The shows over the weekend helped to raise over 1960 TL for local charities and we can’t wait for the next production.
Well done to all involved!

Paul and I had a fantastic night at Theatre Lambousa that night. We were treated like VIP’s and yes there was a bottle of wine on ice at our table.

Thanks
Julia Simmonds
