First of all, a big thank you!
Following our recent efforts, we had a brilliant response from people wishing to be added to the Cyprus emergency blood registry (a registry set up of people who would be willing to donate blood in Cyprus in an emergency).

Meanwhile, our friends over at the British Residents Society are organising an unconnected blood donor day for those of you wishing to go along and donate blood to keep stocks from running out (dangerously low at the moment).

The event is happening on Saturday 19th September 2009, at the Dr. Akcicek Hospital (General hospital) in Girne from 10:am to 1:00pm.
All are welcome and your blood could be used to help save a life.

All donations and go to the central blood bank in Lefkosa.
