We have had several excellent meals at Pomodoro in Girne, which is just down from the Lefkosa roundabout in the road leading to the Colony Hotel. The do fantastic pasta dishes as well as great pizzas all made totally fresh on the premises. The prices are keen and the service is impeccable too.

We live in the Esentepe area and there are several good eateries that deserve a special mention..
The Belediye restaurant at Tatlisu is great for fresh fish by the sea. Hati Cafe Esentepe for many meze dishes to precede your choice of main course.. be it kebab, kleftiko or one of the special dishes Hatice prepares. Zerdeli in upper Esentepe for a great time often with live music and dancing… Excellent food and drink and a crazy time…

My favourite place to eat is Tervetuloa in Alsancak. Great food and excellent value for money. If you haven’t tried it, you should.

Definitely The Archway in Zeytenlik. The best Cypriot Restaurant around in my opinion. Great food and good price combined with excellent service and friendliness

we love the Hut in Lapta in the summer. Such lovely surrondings and the homemade food is to die for!

My favourite place was ?n Karpaz and ate fresh fish, but the difference from other restaurants were that they cooked a Laos fish in stone kiln which is traditional way of cooking in Karpaz area.

I really like Kervan right above the Kervansaray beach. More for the wonderful scenery than food (fish and chips and the fajtias are good though).

I always look forward to curries at Jashan's, particularly in the summer when we can sit out in the courtyard near the fountain – great food, great service and a lovely ambience.

Guido's is also one of my favourite places. Guido cooked us a lobster and pasta dish which was fabulous, adding just the right amount of chilli yum. I would also like to mention Yummies next to the old Astro, fabulous pizza's, very reasonable and good service.
