Kebabs
Anyone visiting the UK from Space would be forgiven for thinking its national dishes were Indian takeaways and Kebabs, and in a way they are already part of British heritage.
Kebabs in Cyprus are incredibly common and taste fantastic. Unlike the UK kebabs are usually cooked fresh on skewers and served simply with Pita Bread and a small salad. Very often the smaller the establishment the better the kebab.

Bread
Bread in Northern Cyprus is delicious, cheap and cooked fresh every day, the softest of loaves will turn to granite overnight. Free from additives and preservities the majority of bread here has been made the same way for generations.
