Paragliding & Paintballing in Northern Cyprus

Of all the breathtaking sites in Cyprus the one that gives the most view and thrill is that which one gets from paragliding across the country. A flight in North Cyprus gives you the best it can offer between the glorious mountains, to the valleys and your final destination on the sandy beach along the Mediterranean Sea.

The most common place to begin is in Kyrenia. From here you will launch near St. Hilarion Castle and can choose your flight pattern. You will have several choices, either a 2500 feet flight overlooking the coast of Kyrenia, a 2530 feet flight over a valley and small villages, or from a sand dune 100 meters high on the Karpas Peninsula to a landing point on a sandy beach below.

Paintballing in Northern Cyprus
Rustling around in the woods and dodging the splat of a paintball at your back has become a fast growing activity for your vacation on the island. But here beach paintball is also becoming quite popular.
In North Cyprus the game is played with two teams each trying to capture the flag of the other and disqualifying as many players as possible by hitting them with the paint gun. All equipment is safely designed to avoid injuries and the actual game usually lasts no longer than 15 or 30 minutes so it is not too tiring.
